The Skype handsets come with a cradle and are individually plain white boxed, with an internal soundcard to boost the call quality to crystal clear landline quality. The internal soundcard also allows you to use the handset and your PC speakers independently.

They are USB 2.0 (backwards compatible with 1.1) and interact with the Skype software with the intuitive scroll wheel that allows you to navigate through your contacts and initiate calls without using your keyboard and mouse. Another great feature is that lifting the handset off the cradle opens the Skype window automatically and placing it back on the cradle closes it down again.
